Our gap analysis of the current systems of a grocery chain based out of California uncovered the need for a connected system that provides visibility of customer data tied to sales transactions, integrated financial processes and the ability to slice & dice this information into meaningful insights to drive business excellence. With this solidified product agnostic vision of the future state, we embarked on a 8 month journey with our client to design, define, build, test and deploy an integrated system that empowered them to streamline processes while connecting disparate data in one centralized location. This multi-million dollar engagement created savings of $5M over 2 years.
Our engagement with a Fortune 5 telecommunications & entertainment company paved the path to creating a single source of truth for disparate data that resided in multiple systems. Using teradata as the foundational tool, we created $500M of savings over 3 years with an initial investment of $62M. The data that was meaningfully stitched together through this transformation process drives customer segmentation across their consumer base which then drives meaningful marketing insights and targeted advertising through their entertainment channels. This data transformation program also served as the stepping stone for the creation of a data product that now generates an auxiliary income of $125M annually from external business clients.
